Climate Series No. 1 – Snow

Welcome… to my first post in what I am calling my Climate Series. I will be sharing 15 posts over the next number of months — all on climate and the foundational truths we can rely on when we consider the climate.

Enjoy.

Sometimes we may be led to believe the climate is out of control, or that we actually might be able to control it.

With the fresh falling snow again it’s good to be reminded of who is very much in control of the climate:

“God sends his command to the earth; his word runs swiftly. He spreads the snow like wool and scatters the frost like ashes.
He hurls down his hail like pebbles.
Who can withstand his icy blast?
He sends his word and melts them; he stirs up his breezes, and the waters flow.” Psalm 147:15-18

We have a high calling to take care of our environment, but we can maintain trust in God when it comes to climate.
