Today is Ascension Day.
The celebration that…
Christ is no longer on the cross,
He is no longer in the grave,
He no longer walks the earth.
He ascended on high and rules over all
as rightful King.
“Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings on earth.”
And He will come again. Are you ready?
Take down the crosses with imagery of Jesus hanging there.
The power of Jesus and His gospel go far beyond that.
He sits on the throne! And rules over all!
A dying Saviour poses no threat to kings and rulers of the day.
A Risen Ruling King threatens ALL powers opposed.
