In a world fraught with lies and deception, how do we know the truth?
Centuries ago, in this same world of lies, Jesus entered in and declared, “I am the Truth.”
He broke the cycle of lies so typical to this world. Truth showed up as a person to fulfill promises of better things… that lies and the father of lies and any and all deception, will be defeated.
Jesus is the very essence of truth. Eternally.
He came to earth to reveal truth. He lived as truth in person.
He fulfilled truth. He proclaimed truth. He walked in truth. He ministered to others in truth. And he calls us to the truth — found in His Word and life.
He died in the truth, for the truth, and rose again as the truth, now glorified.
Truth has being. Truth has substance. Truth has source in Jesus. Truth is His Word, spoken and written for us.
Are you seeking truth? Find it in the One who said, “I am the Truth.”
In a world fraught with lies and deception, it is best for us to abide in this Truth. It will stabilize us now and secure us eternally.
And when we abide in the Truth, the well-being of others is well cultivated as we reveal and proclaim truth.
The Truth will set us free.
“I am the way, the truth, and the life.”
“If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and the truth will set you free.”
