Drought, Fires, Burning… Canada is Being Shaken

Look at the map. Our country is a dry and weary land. And it is literally burning.
We are under the judgment of holy God.

And what do we cry? “Climate change!”
When we need to be crying, “God, forgive us!”

Climate change is devious and deceptive. The new religion. With man at the center.

We are the guilty deviants, and those in power boast of salvation through policy, taxes, and radical ideologies. All must obey.

Anything catastrophic occurs in the weather…. it’s Climate change!

But it ignores the obvious.
There’s no looking up. No recognition of the God who created weather and climate. The God who also brings disaster to shake the nations.

We think we can save ourselves with policies, taxes, and carbon schemes — when we need to be calling on God to save us and have mercy on us and heal our land.

We pass foolish laws. “Don’t walk in the woods.”

We charge exorbitant taxes. Dupe the masses. Pretend we can control something, anything. When really, deep down we are afraid.
Because we cannot control the weather. (Oh, we meddle with it…. but it’s not in our hands.) And we refuse to recognize the God who IS in control, of the weather, of our country, of our very lives.

We need to fall on our faces and repent.

“God, we have despised You and forsaken Your laws.
We call evil good and good evil.
We bow to idols and smear sexual perversion across the land.
Oh God, forgive us! Have mercy on us and heal our land!”

History is clear on this. True saving has never come from human hands.
Only when God intervenes is salvation real and lasting – physically and spiritually.

Join me in crying out to God in repentance and pleading for His mercy over our nation, this dry and weary land.

“When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command the locust to devour the land, or send pestilence among my people, if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:13–14
