Sometimes people end up hating Jesus because they’ve been hurt by someone who says they love Jesus.
And well intended or not, many have defamed the Name of Jesus by claiming to do “good” in His Name — all the while hurting others.
Do not base your opinion of Jesus solely on the actions of those who claim to represent Him.
Look to the book He inspired about Himself, the Bible, and more particularly the gospel writings of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. From there you will be able to more clearly assess who Jesus is, and those who truly follow and represent Him.
